Dear Department of Women’s Studies

The Debate National Championships is being hosted at the U of A next weekend, and students and staff may be very interested in coming to watch the final round. Many of the debate topics relate to course material and promote global awareness. The debates are really entertaining too!

We’d really appreciate your help advertising this to students – if an e-mail could be sent out, or if professors could mention this at the beginning of lecture, that’d be fantastic. Below is some text that could be sent out as an e-mail, and attached is more information an announcement that can be used as an overhead or a poster.

Thanks so much for your help! If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at this e-mail, 780-298-1766, or see our website, http://www.ualberta.ca/~abnats
